Merman part 18 - King Athelaus - Father and son -

Mermaid laid an egg but the duty for hatching the egg are goes to the merman. It's their job as a father.
Usually mermaid only have one egg.But King Athelaus have four wives and that's why He has five eggs.

Merman have extra tentacles like squid and only come out for mating or hatching the egg.

The first born was so weak. King Athelaus were afraid that the baby will died. He went to a deeper sea and looking for a cave where his younger brother lived.

Crotheus was a very dark powerful wizard and famous with his other name - Loki. Crotheus can't go anywhere. The cave was his prison. For a freedom, Crotheus agree to give King Athelaus the medicine to bring back life from the death.

Crotheus gave the King a very strong medicine. Indeed, it safe the baby along with the strong side effect. The baby - Prince Alejandro have a very handsome face so no one could resist him. This is why Prince Alejandro always wear a masks.

The King feel deceived and still granted Crotheus wish but the freedom is only on King Athelaus Kingdom not beyond that. Crotheus whom being tricked was so angry.


This is the bottom reason - the dispute between Crotheus and King Athelaus. So King Athelaus forbid all of his children to visit their uncle - Crotheus. King Athelaus too has other name - Neptune .
